Abstract

Maqolada O‘zbekiston mustaqilligi yillarida milliy tarixiy merosni qayta baholash va tarixiy xotirani tiklash jarayoni tarix fani nuqtai nazaridan tahlil qilinadi. Sovet davri mafkurasi ta’sirida bir tomonlama yoritilgan tarixiy voqealar, davlat arboblari va allomalar merosining xolis o‘rganilishi, tarixshunoslikdagi yangi yondashuvlar masalalari yoritiladi. Shuningdek, moddiy va nomoddiy madaniy merosning muhofazasi, yodgorlik majmualari hamda muzeylarning tarixiy xotirani moddiylashtirishdagi roli, tarix ta’limining milliy ong shakllanishidagi ahamiyati ochib beriladi.

The article analyzes the process of reassessing the national historical heritage and reviving historical memory during the years of Uzbekistan’s independence from the perspective of historical science. It examines the objective study of historical events, the legacy of statesmen and scholars previously interpreted one-sidedly under Soviet ideology, and new approaches in historiography. The study also reveals the protection of tangible and intangible cultural heritage, the role of memorial complexes and museums in materializing historical memory, and the importance of history education in shaping national consciousness.
