Seymur Bekker, Jeff Sahadeo, Aleksandr Morrison, Maykl Xodarkovskiy, Jin Noda hamda Hélène Carrère d’Encausse kabi olimlarning asarlari asosida Rossiya mustamlakachiligining siyosiy, iqtisodiy, madaniy va ijtimoiy jihatlari yoritiladi.

WESTERN HISTORIOGRAPHY ON THE HISTORY OF THE RUSSIAN COLONIAL PERIOD

This article analyzes how the colonial policy of the Russian Empire in Central Asia and its historical processes have been studied in Western historiography. Drawing on the works of scholars such as Seymour Becker, Jeff Sahadeo, Alexander Morrison, Michael Khodarkovsky, Jin Noda, and Hélène Carrère d’Encausse, the political, economic, cultural, and social dimensions of Russian colonialism are examined. The study demonstrates that Western historians have evaluated the colonial experience through the perspectives of imperial governance, relations with local societies, and intercivilizational interactions.
