Abstract
Ushbu maqolada Kormak Makkartining «Yo‘l» (2006) romani ekzistensializm falsafasi asosida tahlil qilinadi. Tadqiqotning maqsadi ota va o‘g‘il obrazlarini uchta falsafiy yo‘nalish — Alber Kamyu (absurd), Syoren Kierkegaard (imon sakrashi) va Emmanuel Levinas (boshqalik etikasi) orqali yaxlit tizim sifatida ochib berishdir. Tahlillar shuni ko‘rsatadiki, ota va o‘g‘il o‘rtasidagi munosabat Kamyucha «isyondan» Kierkegaardcha «imonga» va Levinascha «shartsiz mas’uliyatga» o‘tish bosqichlarini namoyon etadi. Bu esa romanda nima uchun ota o‘lib, o‘g‘il yangi umid bilan omon qolganini falsafiy jihatdan tushuntirib beradi.

This paper analyzes Cormac McCarthy’s novel The Road (2006) through the lens of existential philosophy. The study examines the father and son as two poles of a unified existential dialectic based on three philosophical pillars: Albert Camus (absurdism), Søren Kierkegaard (leap of faith), and Emmanuel Levinas (ethics of alterity). The findings show a clear philosophical transition from the father’s Camusian revolt and Kierkegaardian faith to the son’s Levinasian ethics of unconditional responsibility. This transition explains the father’s death and the son’s survival as a symbol of renewed hope.
