This article explores the rapidly evolving field of algal eco-biotechnology as a sustainable solution to global environmental and economic crises. It highlights the biological advantages of micro- and macroalgae over terrestrial crops, including high biomass productivity, minimal land requirements, and efficient carbon sequestration. Furthermore, the paper discusses the key industrial applications of algae in wastewater bioremediation, third-generation biofuel production, sustainable agriculture, and pharmaceuticals. Finally, current economic bottlenecks, such as high photobioreactor costs and energy-intensive harvesting, are analyzed alongside future prospects for integrating algae into a global circular green economy.
